Security Officer

Position Purpose:

As a Security Officer at LMSA, you will be at the forefront of our security efforts. You will play a vital role in protecting our valuable assets, our dedicated workforce, and the continued success of our mining site. 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Site Access Control:  Be the first line of defense by monitoring and managing access points.

- Surveillance:  Utilize state-of-the-art security systems to maintain a watchful eye on our mining site.

- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect security risks.

- Emergency Response: Be the first responder during emergencies and coordinate with local authorities.

- Report Writing: Document incidents, ensuring a detailed and accurate record of all activities.

- Security Policies: Enforce and promote security policies and procedures.

- Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to bolster our security measures.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local laws, regulations, and industry standards. 

Qualifications: 

- High school diploma or equivalent (security training/certification a plus).

- Previous security experience, preferably in a mining or industrial setting.

- Knowledge of security equipment, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.

- Physical fitness and the capability to perform security-related tasks.
