Vacancy Announcement: Process Trainer

Location:  Goulamina, Mali

Reporting Relationship: Process Supervisor

Position Purpose:

The Process Trainer is a vital role responsible for the induction and training of processing staff at our Goulamina site. The incumbent ensures that employees receive adequate instruction and training in safety systems and the tasks required of them. This position plays a key role in making certain that employees are competent to perform assigned tasks and operate the necessary equipment, with a focus on maintaining accurate records of assessments and competencies.

Major Responsibility Areas:

 - Induct and train individuals and teams through safe systems of work.

- Train processing personnel through each section of the plant and ensure competency.

 - Develop and deliver training courses in cooperation with supervisors

- Maintain excellent record-keeping for all process staff.

- Comply with training matrix and retraining schedules.

   - Determine training needs for site personnel and new trainees.

   - Comply with Malian training standards.

Corporate Responsibilities:

   - Ensure all legislative, regulatory, and statutory obligations are met.

   - Provide reports suitable for executive and board distribution.

   - Conform to company policy and protocols, ensuring compliance with all statutory and company obligations.

   - Undertake any other responsibilities as reasonably required. 

Position Holder Requirements:

- Cert 4 or equivalent in training and assessment.

- At least 3 years in training and assessment in a mineral processing site.

- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and INX.

- Strong record-keeping skills.

- Ability to conduct a training needs analysis.
