INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY NOTICE 

Position: Metallurgist

Reporting Relationship:  Reporting to Processing Manager 

Position Purpose: Are you a dedicated Metallurgist looking to take your career to new heights? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Metallurgist to join our team in Goulamina, Mali. As the Metallurgist (MPRO003), you will play a pivotal role in optimizing process control and improvement by leading technical process production and engineering projects professionally and efficiently. 

Major Responsibility Areas: 

- Monitor and review plant and lab operational parameters

- Compile reports and offer recommendations to the Mill Superintendent based on operational data and trends

- Manage and oversee plant-related projects

- Assist in maintenance shutdowns

- Support plant operations during shift changeovers 

Position Holder Requirements: 

- Hold a tertiary degree in metallurgy or chemical engineering (e.g., pyrometallurgy)

- Five to eight years of relevant experience

- Safety leadership

- Open-minded

- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
